Each of the seven brothers gets his own book, following his own course to love, but the focus on the titular brother isn't really a focus as much as it is a spotlight, because the book is NOT just about him - the books are about the entire family. Unlike so many series where the title characters are the entire focus, these books follow the path of the entire family. I LOVED that! I loved reading about ALL of the brothers and ALL of the family members IN EVERY BOOK! I love the family's strong foundation in Christian faith. I loved their very human struggles. I loved their ups. I loved their downs. I love EVERY minute. I'm going to miss them (but I think I'll see them again as secondary characters in other series), so, as I have now finished the last book in this series, it's not really good-bye - it's see ya later.
