Book 6: A Very Royal Roommate (Cider Cove Sweet RomCom)

I loved Tally and Cal's story so much! I especially loved how Cal stood up to his parents while still performing his royal duties. And of course who doesn't love a love story that began in high school, was thwarted, and then comes back to life with a satisfying ending?!

Absolutely loved this one! Cal & Tally’s second chance love is sweet and beautiful to watch unfold. This was a fantastic way to wrap up the happily ever afters from the Big House and all the check-ins were wonderful. I loved watching how Cal & Tally made their relationship work!

Tahlia is the owner of “The Big House “ a gorgeous southern plantation house and she’s watched her 5 roomies/best friends find the perfect man for each while she teaches junior high art. Then she rents out her two upper floors to two mysterious men and she finds out one of them is the boy who ghosted her 20 years earlier. Join this hilarious romp with a Queen Mother and a tortoise named Shelvidore Dali along for the ride. I love her interactions with Don and the German Shepherds. I love how Callen is very good as Special Envoy but just wants to be loved for being him. I love how her sparkles and glitter overcome even the staid Queen and how the German Shepherds will do anything for her. This is finale so we see the rest of the friends with a little bow all wrapped up. This is such a great found family as they are all there for each other and their men get along famously also. Very clean and wholesome. Fall in love with these Southern women.

The perfect conclusion to this series. I loved the story, what a fairytale romance. Tahlia has just attended a double wedding for the last of her group of friends, which leaves her feeling a little lonely. Unfortunately, she’s not had the best luck with men the one she thought that might work out left without even saying goodbye. Well, that was many years ago and now here she is alone in the big house. She’s rented out some rooms, for six months, to some men that are visiting the area. But they won’t be here for another week. So when she arrives home very late from her friends wedding and sees a light on in the upstairs bedroom, she grabs her pepper spray and goes to confront the burglar. Wise choice? Probably not.
This is a cute meet that makes you smile from ear to ear. But this isn’t the first cute meet between these two when she realizes this stranger in her house is none other than Callan Irwin, the boy that left her without a word. The story is so fun, entertaining, sweet, charming story. It’s a great cuddle under a blanket, cozy read. Tally finally gets her love match. I love reconnecting with all the other characters from the other books in this series, seeing how their lives are progressing and the happiness that they all share is so heartwarming. I highly encourage reading this clean, wholesome, entertaining romcom as a standalone or as part of the series.

Love, love, love this finale to the Cider Cove Southern RomCom series. Don’t love that the series has ended, but as with all of Elana Johnson’s books, this one has all the warm and fuzzies mixed in with the fun, flirty banter and hilarity of situations that Elana’s characters often find themselves in. Highly recommend!
