We have come to end of an amazing series and I am so sad to have read the last book. But it was amazing.
Deacon and Chappelle are such a wonderful match. Chappelle challenges Deacon in all the right ways, encouraging him to step outside his comfort zone while never hesitating to tell him exactly what he needs to hear. At the same time, Deacon's kind, tender-hearted nature makes him impossible not to love. He may be set in his ways, but together these two create a relationship that simply works, and I found myself rooting for them from beginning to end.
This book delivers every emotion imaginable. I laughed, smiled, and definitely shed a few tears—especially during the wedding scene and the final chapter. Thankfully, they were the best kind of tears: happy ones. The emotional payoff was beautiful and deeply satisfying.
Fans of Molly and Hunter will also be thrilled, as they play a significant role throughout the story, and the final chapter gives readers even more time with them. One of my favorite aspects of this book was getting to revisit so many beloved characters and see where everyone ended up.
Closing the final page left me with a profound sense of happiness and contentment. While I never want this series to end, this book provided the perfect conclusion. It was heartfelt, emotional, and wonderfully fulfilling. I honestly could not have loved it more. Five stars!

The story of Deacon and Chapelle was interesting. Although they shared a love for the farm, there was so much they had to learn about themselves and each other. I learned about the importance of soil quality in producing a better harvest.
I always enjoy catching up with other relatives. It was a bittersweet moment knowing that this was the finale.
Absolutely loved this conclusion to the Hammond series! Multi-generations of love stories wrapped up in the sweetest of happily ever afters for Deacon & Chapelle. Deacon has waited so long for his person and Chapelle has waited to find a place to belong. And as always, I loved all the check ins from the past characters.
Best ending to a family Saga! There were parts of this story that made me cry, and laugh and smile, and like the author said, families aren't perfect. The Matriarch perspectives in the families made it special.
